Services
What we do
Heritage Property & Brick Restoration
We specialise in gentle, low-pressure paint removal from period brickwork and historic masonry. Whether you are restoring a Victorian townhouse in Chelsea, a Regency terrace in Brighton, or a historic property in Kent, our tailored systems safely strip back decades of grime and stubborn masonry paint without pitting original stone or delicate yellow London Stock brick.
Non-Destructive Soda Blasting
Our eco-friendly soda blasting system is the premier choice for heritage property owners in Wadhurst, Lewes, and Crowborough. Because baking soda media cleans without profile damage, we can safely strip heavy dark varnishes, layers of paint, and severe smoke soot from delicate, century-old structural oak beams and historic inglenook fireplaces, completely restoring the wood's natural grain.
Precision Automotive & Vapour Blasting
Based out of our workshop, we provide elite surface preparation for classic vehicle collectors and motorcycle restorers across the Horsham, Heathfield, and Tunbridge Wells automotive belts. From full vehicle shell paint stripping to precision vapour blasting on delicate aluminium engine casings and cylinder heads, we deliver a flawless factory-satin finish without heat warping or changing critical tolerances.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Will blast cleaning damage my historic or Grade-Listed brickwork?
Absolutely not when handled by our specialists. We focus entirely on sensitive heritage restoration and never use aggressive, high-pressure industrial sandblasting on fragile historic brick. Instead, we use ultra-low pressure systems paired with exceptionally soft, non-destructive media like baking soda or ultra-fine glass bead. This setup gently cleans away decades of city soot, pollution, and dirt while fully preserving the fragile face of the brick and the original lime mortar joints.
What is the best way to clean dark paint or varnish off historic oak beams?
Soda blasting is the ultimate gold standard for timber frame restoration. Because baking soda is an incredibly soft, friable media, the crystals shatter instantly upon impact. This unique action allows us to lift heavy black varnishes, layers of old paint, and severe fire soot off ancient structural timbers without pitting, tearing, or opening up the delicate grain of the old wood. It leaves the timber looking exactly as it should.
Can you remove modern paint from exterior brick walls?
Yes, we use specialised low-pressure soda and fine-media blasting to lift old coatings away. Modern acrylic or plastic masonry paints trap moisture inside old walls, which can lead to damp issues and brick decay. Our delicate blasting process strips these suffocating paint layers off brick and flint facades without harming the underlying masonry, returning the building to its breathable, original state.
Will soda blasting warp my classic car body panels?
No, because we use specialised media like baking soda, glass bead or super fine crushed glass at strictly controlled, low pressures for automotive shells. Traditional heavy grit blasting creates heat from friction, which warps sheet metal. Soda blasting creates zero heat, meaning we can strip an entire vintage vehicle shell down to raw metal while keeping the panels perfectly flat and factory-straight.
What is vapour blasting, and what is it used for?
Vapour blasting (also known as wet blasting) mixes water, compressed air, and fine abrasive media. The water cushions the impact, creating a scrubbing action rather than an aggressive pitting action. This is the absolute best process for classic motorcycle and car engine restorations because it removes corrosion and grime from aluminium casings and cylinder heads, leaving a beautiful, dirt-resistant, factory-satin finish without changing critical engineering tolerances.
Do I need to coat the metal immediately after you blast it?
For standard dry-blasted steel vehicle chassis or parts, the metal is completely raw and susceptible to flash rusting. We highly recommend applying a weld-through primer or booking our bundled powder coating (or wet spraying, for steel structures) immediately after blasting to lock out moisture. For vapour-blasted aluminium or brass parts, the water rinse contains a temporary rust inhibitor to give you time to paint or lacquer the components.
Do you bring your own power and equipment for mobile site jobs?
Yes. Our mobile blast cleaning rigs are entirely self-contained with industrial compressors and media pots, so we are fully self-sufficient on site. Mobile work uses dry, low-pressure media only. Whether we are operating on a remote rural barn conversion in Crowborough or a tight residential street setup in London, we bring everything required to complete the job efficiently.
