About TB Blast Cleaning
Tim Butler, founder.
We work across East Sussex and West Sussex, and as far as London. The workshop is in Hailsham. Mobile blast cleaning goes to the job.
East and West Sussex
Mobile blast cleaning across both counties, and as far as London.
Restoration first
Plant machinery, motor restoration and wet spraying came before the blasting.
Fine media only
Sodium bicarbonate, glass bead and super fine crushed glass. No steel shot.
How the work started.
My name is Tim Butler, founder of TB Blast Cleaning. Before sandblasting, we restored plant machinery. That was the main work. My father ran a plant business in France, so machinery was already part of the family. Over time he suggested I get a sandblaster, to make the restoration faster. That is what we do today.
We have always had a background in restoration: plant machinery, motor restoration and wet spraying, so items are in careful hands. At the workshop, and on mobile blast cleaning, we only use fine media, chosen for the parts. That is sodium bicarbonate, glass bead or super fine crushed glass. We do not use steel shot. Shot blasting is a different process, and it is not the one used here.
Over the years we have worked with many reputable contractors, including Sunninghill Construction, Acorn Builders, Osborne Energy, Chelsea Construction (Sussex) Ltd, C&G Commercial Services Limited, Hawes Construction Group and Balcombe Estate, and many more.
